  • Pre,- and Postnatal women. Back in the Netherlands I’ve treated pregnant women with postural problems/ physical complaints and I gave outdoor group classes to pre,- and postnatal women. As a mother of 2 young girls I know well what pregnant women are going through during a pregnancy. As well it can be scary not knowing what to do or not to do during or after a pregnancy. I will work with you at every stage of your nine month pregnancy to make sure you are exercising and eating in the most optimal and safe way for you and your baby. When you’re post-natal we will discuss your goals and looking really carefully where we need to start from after you gave birth. We have our great Women’s Health physio’s Suzie and Jenny who can keep a close eye on you as much as needed.
  • People who want to lose body fat. Sports and nutrition has always fascinated me. There are loads of diets that can (or think they can) guarantee a quick loose of bodyweight. But these day’s most of us know that we can’t stick to those diets forever. My goal is to help you lose weight but especially to help you to change your old (unhealthy) habits into new habits that will lead to weight loss and you can stick to for the rest of your life.
  • People without any goals, people completely new in a gym or people who just feel like they have to do something (again). I’m always happy to see someone coming in thinking not having a goal. I like the fact they feel like they ‘need’ to do something. Take the first step , make an appointment and I’ll guarantee you we can make some (simple) goals to work on and nailing it every week!
  • Rehab clients. Back in the Netherlands I worked as a therapist and saw loads of clients with physical complaints all over the body. So when you’ve seen a physiotherapist, but still need to work on your ‘weaknesses’ I’m happy to help you to achieve your goals!

Philosophy: Having a goal is great! It moves you forward. But don’t let your goal be your enemy. There’s always time to reconsider and change or adjust your goals.

About You: I’ve always been passionate in sports and movement. I love to work in a sportive environment! I love to go to work in the most relaxed outfit there is! But most of all, I love to help and motivate people who have made the step to work on their body (in any way). It is my goal to help you achieving your goals in a responsible, safe way.

Belief: If you have a health and or fat loss goal don’t expect yourself to be able to do it all at once. It’s better to take it one step at a time and be able to make new habits which you can follow the rest of your life, than reach your goal in a short time and easily falling back into your old habits.

Travel Experience: I looooove to travel and meet new cultures. I’ve been in Egypt, Kenia, South Africa, Peru, Equador, Colombia, America (New York, Florida), Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, You want me to continue? Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Australia, and I’ve also seen a lot in Europe…

Something strange: It’s more something stupid… 🙂

Once I took a bus with my husband in Vietnam while I was pregnant. The bus stopped and I really had to go to the bathroom. I ran out the bus, and came back less than a minute but the bus had left… There I stood, pregnant, no phone, no money… Fortunately someone at the bus station had the driver’s number, called him and brought me on his scooter to the bus. My husband saw me driving by, didn’t even notice yet I wasn’t in the bus. I now never leave without telling someone!

Biggest Sporting achievement: Not per se in sport but in fasting. I’ve once done a 10 day water /herbal tea fasting. (That’s right….. no food, no juices, just water and herbal tea for 10 days…)

Family fact: I’m a mother of 2 young girls and a sweet husband who loves to work out as well!

Favorite Band: love music, love festivals, all different kinds
