BOXING

Boxing is a fantastic full body workout that builds athleticism, speed, power and co-ordination.

It teaches the body to adapt to short periods of high intensity activity and develops your ability to calm yourself and recover in a short period. Regardless of your fitness levels, boxing is described as “fun” and “a great stress management tool”.

OUTDOOR MOVEMENT

Our successful outdoor series of movement in the park is continuing in Sun Yet Sen Park, focusing on primal movement patterns combined with hand balancing, functional locomotion and other techniques.

Different sessions will be run by different JD staff based on their specialities so you get the most out of our outdoor classes.

As always we will finish in style with drinks and canapés.

YOGA

All the health benefits of yoga with a focus on stretching and releasing tension that tends to develop in the hamstrings and hips, particularly for runners.

With elements of yin yoga integrated in each session you are on your way to a slower, deeper and more introspective yoga practice.

Yoga classes take place every Monday 7.45-8.45pm and every Friday 6.15-7.15am.

GROUP CLASS

Everybody exercises for their own reasons, many love the social aspect of a group exercise class as by investing their time and energy in a regular group class it is an insurance policy to overcome low energy and motivation, have fun in a group environment and also -as it is a group class- it is a more economical alternative then individual sessions.

 Whatever your drive to exercise, a group class at Joint Dynamics is sure to provide you with the environment conducive to getting in great shape, having some fun and building community under expert guidance in all aspects of human movement.

POWER LIFTING

Power lifting is based on the simple act of lifting as much weight as you can in three basic movements: squat, dead lift and bench press.

It might sound simple however with high intensity lifting optimal technique is crucial. Power lifting is as much a mental test as it is a physical challenge, pushing yourself beyond your limitations.

MSS MOVEMENT

“Mostability” is a phrase coined by The Gray Institute, it means bodies with optimal range of motion and stability which are efficient and athletic.

Training this way creates lean, lengthened and adaptable muscles resilient to injury, allowing you to perform and play at a higher level.
