Training Philosophy:

My clients come to me with different goals and different needs.  My aim is to challenge my clients physically and mentally, partnering with them to achieve their goals through a set program, taking one step at a time.  Education, and helping them understand the fundamentals of exercises and why we do them, helps with this journey.

Training and Background:

Certificate in Applied Functional Science (CAFS), Gray Insitute, USA
Advanced Certificate in Personal Training

Mitch’s Specialities:

Strength & conditioning: training for strength and conditioning the body is at the grass roots of performance and general well-being.  Mitch has been trained on the how to and has had to walk through the fire of strength and conditioning programs designed for some of the very best athletes in the world.

Mobility & stability: training your body to be ready for the unexpected through exercises and games.  To avoid injury, to be able to push performance and results, the body must be properly prepared. Push, pull, jump, lunge, squat, crawl, get moving in all directions.

Speed, agility & quickness (SAQ): SAQ training consists of short, intense drills that involve quick acceleration and deceleration while moving backward, forward or side-to-side. SAQ training improves balance, power and neuromuscular firing patterns.
