Biography

Amanda is a Canadian-trained physiotherapist who completed her MSc in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta, following a Bachelor of Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Her practice blends manual therapy, Clinical Pilates, education and progressive strength and conditioning to restore function and confidence. Shaped by her own sporting background and recovery from a disc herniation, Amanda emphasises active rehabilitation and the mindset required to overcome setbacks. Patients value her empathy, clear coaching and ability to make rehabilitation both purposeful and enjoyable.

Specialities

Amanda specialises in spinal conditions, including acute and chronic neck and lower back pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and post-surgical rehabilitation. She also uses Clinical Pilates and strength-based training to enhance recovery and prevent recurrence.

Information & Qualifications

Amanda holds an MSc in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from UBC. She has completed advanced musculoskeletal training through the Canadian Orthopaedic Division, Pilates rehabilitation training with STOTT and Calibrate, and acupuncture certification through Acupuncture Canada. She also holds Functional Movement Screen accreditation. Amanda speaks English and is active outside the clinic in Pilates, hiking, paddle-boarding and animal welfare volunteering.
