Biography
Emily trained at the University of South Australia and has worked in private practice since graduating. Originally from Australia and fluent in English and Cantonese, she has devoted much of her professional development to women’s health. Emily supports women through pregnancy and the postnatal period, providing clear guidance for safe return to activity. Her clinical experience includes abdominal separation, pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary incontinence, prolapse, sexual pain, overactive bladder, pelvic girdle pain, mastitis and post-mastectomy rehabilitation. Patients value her compassionate manner, practical education and individualised exercise programming.
Specialities
Emily’s interests include pre, antenatal and postnatal care, exercise-led rehabilitation, and management of neck pain, headaches and shoulder injuries. She integrates manual therapy when appropriate with progressive loading, Clinical Pilates and self-management strategies so clients can achieve meaningful, sustainable outcomes.
Information & Qualifications
Emily holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia. Her further training includes Dry Needling Level 2 Advanced, Dean Watson Cervicogenic Headache education and Clinical Pilates Levels 1 to 5. She practises with a person-centred philosophy that combines education, tailored exercise and hands-on techniques to reduce pain and improve movement.
