Biography

Sanjay has spent his life exploring what the body and mind are capable of, beginning martial arts and meditation at thirteen and later working with some of the world’s leading strength and performance mentors. His coaching draws from years spent in Thai boxing, elite strength training, breathwork, and mindset development, shaped by time at Westside Barbell and five years working alongside Wim Hof. He believes that real progress comes from lived experience, and his approach blends curiosity, discipline and a deep understanding of human behaviour.

Specialities

Sanjay helps clients build robust strength, resilient movement and greater mental clarity, using methods grounded in both physical training and breath-mind practices. He works with athletes, busy professionals and individuals managing medical challenges, supporting each person with practical tools that improve performance, confidence and wellbeing. His coaching emphasises adaptability, self-awareness and the ability to stay steady under pressure.

Information & Qualifications

Sanjay has trained at Westside Barbell as both a personal trainer and special strengths coach, and is qualified across multiple movement and mobility systems including FRC, FRA, FR, Kinstretch and MWOD. He is an ALTIS accredited coach, an Athletic Skills Model trainer, and a boxing and kickboxing coach. His background also includes instructing the Wim Hof Method, XPT breathing and a range of performance practices. Outside the gym, he is a filmmaker, percussionist, and lifelong student of meditation, storytelling, and self-expression.
