Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Biography
Bethany holds a Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University, following earlier degrees in Exercise Science and in Anatomy and Physiology. She has worked in private practice and pitch-side with Australian Football League teams, applying an active, strength-and-conditioning-led approach. With an athletics background and a special interest in lower-back pain and running injuries, Bethany emphasises education, movement confidence and sustainable strength training across all ages, particularly in the ageing population.
Specialities
Bethany specialises in running-related injuries and performance, spinal and neurological pain, chronic injury management and dry needling. She also uses Clinical Pilates and hydrotherapy-informed rehabilitation to help patients build resilience.
Information & Qualifications
Bethany holds degrees in Physiotherapy, Exercise Science and Anatomy and Physiology, all from Australian universities. She has completed APPI Clinical Pilates training in equipment and matwork, as well as advanced dry needling certification. She speaks English and enjoys working with patients of all ages, from older adults maintaining independence to young athletes chasing performance.
