Biography

Elliot has called Hong Kong home since childhood. Originally a competitive squash player, he turned to running to complement training and became an avid ultrarunner with deep roots in the local community. He coaches runners of all abilities, from first 5 km to multi-day ultras, with a process-driven philosophy that makes race day a celebration of the journey.

Specialities

Elliot’s coaching covers strength and conditioning for runners, technique refinement, personalised run programming, race strategy and race-day nutrition. He helps athletes build robust, efficient movement so they can train consistently and perform well across trails and roads.

Information & Qualifications

Elliot is a UESCA-certified Ultrarunning Coach and Sports Endurance Nutrition Coach with a specialisation in sports psychology, and he is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer. His running résumé includes numerous ultramarathons with six 100-mile finishes, HK4TUC Survivor (2022), Trans Scania 246 km finisher (2023) and the HK100 Grand Sam (2024).
