Etienne Simonnet
Osteopath
Biography
Etienne grew up in Paris, playing multiple sports before injuries sparked a deep interest in manual therapy and physiology. He moved to London to complete a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Osteopathy, which he describes as the key to understanding his own injuries both in and out of sport. After spending time in Kuala Lumpur, he relocated to Hong Kong in 2019, where he has continued to refine a patient-centred approach that addresses the whole person.
Specialities
Etienne treats acute and chronic conditions arising from mechanical or inflammatory origins, including pelvic and lower-back presentations and complex shoulder problems. He considers the musculoskeletal, neurological, gastrointestinal and lymphatic systems and uses a range of osteopathic techniques such as joint and spinal manipulation, deep tissue work, myofascial release and neural mobilisation to restore mobility and healthy soft tissue function.
Information & Qualifications
Etienne holds undergraduate and master’s qualifications in Osteopathy from London. He enjoys open-water swimming and outdoor activities and is an avid dog lover who shares his life with two dogs. His practice balances detailed assessment with hands-on care and clear guidance for long-term change.
