Jack Capon

Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist

Biography

Jack grew up in Hong Kong from the age of 11 and represented Hong Kong rugby from Under 14 through to the Men’s National 7s and 15s teams. After five years as a full-time athlete on the Asian Series, World 7s Series and at the Asian Games, he returned to education and completed a first-class BSc in Physiotherapy in Brighton. Time spent on the treatment table as a player shaped his active, practical outlook on rehabilitation. Today, he channels that experience into helping people overcome injury and rebuild confidence, whether they are returning to daily life or aiming for higher levels of sport and performance.

Specialities

Jack focuses on pre and post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries and strength and conditioning programming. He has a particular interest in shoulder injuries informed by his own playing history, and he applies a progressive, evidence-based approach that emphasises movement quality, load management and clear milestones back to full function.

Information & Qualifications

Jack holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports Management from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a first-class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton. His professional background includes the HKSI and HKRU full-time rugby programme, World Rugby Strength and Conditioning qualifications for adults and youth, and serving as Premiership Physiotherapist for Kroll USRC Tigers in 2021–22.
