Biography

Kathryn is a Registered Psychologist and Certified Meditation Teacher with more than 20 years’ experience. Beginning her counselling career in 1996, she has supported clients through life transitions, perinatal mental health, adjustment to physical difficulties, stress, anxiety, depression, confidence, relationships, bullying and harassment, and change management. She integrates mindfulness and positive psychology to develop self-awareness, build inner strength and create practical strategies that fit the present moment while acknowledging learned patterns from the past. Since 2008 she has also delivered corporate programmes in stress management, mindfulness, conflict resolution, mental health literacy and disability awareness.

Specialities

Kathryn offers individual counselling and group training with a holistic, mind–body perspective. She helps clients cultivate grounded attention, new perspectives and workable habits, creating a safe, supportive space to explore concerns and move forward with clarity.

Information & Qualifications

Kathryn is a Certified Meditation Teacher through the Chopra Center (USA). Her academic training includes a PGDip in Psychology from the University of Western Sydney, a Certificate in Psychological Practice leading to Psychologist Registration from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and a BA in Psychology from Macquarie University. She has lived in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Hong Kong, and enjoys hiking, cooking and learning about nutrition.
