Biography

Kym is an experienced Australian physiotherapist who has spent many years in Hong Kong private practice. She has a longstanding interest in supporting women through pregnancy and the postnatal phase, using exercise-based rehabilitation to restore movement, strength and confidence. With children of her own, she understands the realities of recovery and provides individualised care that fits life’s demands. Kym integrates Clinical Pilates and evidence-informed strategies to manage pelvic girdle pain, spinal conditions and pelvic floor symptoms, as well as inflammatory breast conditions such as mastitis.

Specialities

Kym treats a broad range of musculoskeletal presentations with a focus on women’s health across the lifespan. Her work includes pregnancy-related low-back and cervical issues, postnatal pelvic floor concerns, abdominal wall weakness and tailored core stabilisation using Clinical Pilates principles. She values patient education and engagement as the foundation for long-term wellbeing.

Information & Qualifications

Kym holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from Australia and has completed BET Clinical Pilates training in Hong Kong. She is actively advancing her specialisation in women’s health and applies current evidence to guide assessment and rehabilitation. Outside the clinic she enjoys hiking Hong Kong’s trails, open-water swimming and supporting her children’s sports.
