Biography
Mandy is a culturally diverse physiotherapist fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She studied Physiology at McGill University before completing a Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne. Having lived and worked in both Canada and Hong Kong, she communicates with ease across backgrounds and has extensive private practice experience with athletes, office workers and women across the pre and postnatal journey. A mother of two and a member of the Women’s Health team at Joint Dynamics Evolve, she brings empathy and practical guidance to each stage of care, helping women restore strength and return to the activities they enjoy.
Specialities
Mandy’s clinical interests include prenatal care and birth preparation, postnatal assessment and rehabilitation, high-level pelvic floor training, diastasis management, lower-back and pelvic pain, wrist injuries, and graded return to running with attention to running biomechanics. She blends education, exercise therapy and Clinical Pilates to support safe, confident return to impact and higher-level sport.
Information & Qualifications
Mandy holds a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from McGill University. She is a DMA-qualified Clinical Pilates instructor, has completed Dry Needling Levels 1 and 2, and previously worked with the Hong Kong Football Club Rugby section as team physio. Further training includes the Born Ready Birth course and APA certifications in Women’s Pelvic Health and Introductory Women’s Health. She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin and is passionate about helping postnatal women return to running.
