Matt Cornwall
Senior Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist
Biography
Matt graduated from the University of Salford and has practised across Singapore, the UK and Hong Kong in hospitals, private clinics and with sports teams including Singapore Rugby and Valley RFC. Formerly an accountant, he retrained to follow a purpose-driven career in physiotherapy and brings a pragmatic, evidence-based style to treatment. Matt blends hands-on techniques with personalised exercise programming, underpinned by pain science and a biopsychosocial approach, helping patients move from day-one recovery to full return to activity.
Specialities
Matt works extensively with musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, post-operative and spinal rehabilitation, and running and triathlon-related issues. He has a particular interest in complex shoulder and knee conditions and in guiding athletes from acute injury through to full performance.
Information & Qualifications
Matt holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the UK and is registered in Hong Kong, the UK and Singapore. He is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and has completed training in dry needling, clinical Pilates, diagnostic ultrasound and pitch-side immediate care with World Rugby. Outside of practice, Matt is a keen runner, triathlete, footballer, golfer, photographer and traveller.
