Biography
Niall earned his BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Ulster University and an MSc in Sports & Exercise Medicine from the University of Glasgow. His experience spans professional and academy sport with St Mirren FC, Scotland Hockey and Antrim GAA, as well as private practice, the Royal Air Force and a UK private hospital. Having recovered from major surgery himself, he brings empathy and a practical, performance-driven approach to rehabilitation. Niall tailors programmes to the individual, blending clinical insight with a strong focus on education so patients understand their condition, engage with rehab and progress confidently towards their goals.
Specialities
Niall has a particular interest in lower-limb injuries, especially complex knee conditions, and he has extensive experience in sports injury management and post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation. He emphasises education-led rehabilitation and is committed to helping patients return to their desired level of function.
Information & Qualifications
Niall holds an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Glasgow and a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Ulster University. He is registered with the HCPC and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Originally from Ireland, he continues to compete in Gaelic Football, enjoys golf and photography, and has had work published in National Geographic Traveller Magazine.
