What You’ll Get

Over three days, you’ll train, swim, and recover alongside a small group of like minded swimmers in a relaxed but purposeful environment. Swim sessions are structured and coached, while the gym work supports stronger movement, long term resilience, and reduced injury risk in and out of the water.

With numbers capped at just 20 participants, there’s time for individual feedback and genuine coaching throughout the camp. All sessions are led by Marcel Smit, whose approachable coaching style is grounded in real world experience, technical insight, and a clear focus on helping athletes perform better while staying healthy and consistent in their training.

Event Details

The Joint Dynamics Swim Camp runs from 1–3 May 2026 at Thanyapura Sports & Health Resort in Phuket, Thailand, a setting chosen for its world class training facilities and calm, focused environment. Participants arrive on Thursday 30 April for an evening check in, with the camp concluding on Sunday 3 May after the final sessions and afternoon check out.

Priced at HK$3,000 per person, the camp includes full coaching and lane hire for all scheduled group sessions. While the days are centred around training and recovery, the warm climate and relaxed surroundings of Phuket provide an ideal backdrop between sessions. Accommodation, flights, and meals are arranged separately, allowing flexibility around travel and stay.

Event Itinerary

The camp begins on Thursday 30 April, with participants arriving and checking in during the evening. Training starts on Friday 1 May with an early morning gym session from 7:00–8:00, followed by a 10:00–11:00 swim session. The day concludes with an additional evening swim from 18:30–20:00. On Saturday 2 May, the schedule follows a similar structure, beginning with a 7:00–8:00 gym session and a 10:00–11:00 swim. A shorter evening swim session takes place from 18:30–19:00, allowing time for recovery. The final day, Sunday 3 May, includes a 7:00–8:00 gym session and a 10:00–11:00 swim, with participants checking out during the afternoon.

Gym Sessions

Each gym session is designed to support stronger, more resilient swimming. The focus will be on shoulder health, upper body strength, core activation, coordination, mobility, spinal health, and building leg strength and power to improve overall performance and durability.

Additional Considerations

Accommodation, flights, and meals are not included and will need to be arranged separately. Thanyapura offers a range of on site accommodation options for the camp period, with room rates currently ranging from THB 4,010 to THB 8,019 per night, depending on room type.
