Biography
Trista is a women’s health and musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a background in kinesiology. She completed her physiotherapy degree in Newcastle upon Tyne after moving from Canada to the UK, then worked within the NHS in London before relocating to Hong Kong. As part of the Evolve Women’s Health team, she supports women through pre and postnatal recovery, diastasis management, urinary and bowel incontinence, peri and post-menopausal concerns, mastitis and sexual pain. Trista also has extensive experience in sport-related MSK presentations and previously specialised in neurological rehabilitation, including post-stroke, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis management.
Specialities
Trista’s practice combines women’s pelvic health with broader musculoskeletal care. She designs active rehabilitation programmes that address pain, function and long-term resilience, using education, exercise and graded exposure to help women maintain an active, pain-free lifestyle across life stages.
Information & Qualifications
Trista’s further education includes a suite of advanced women’s health courses through WHAT in Australia, covering pelvic floor pain, prolapse and stress urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, birth choices and trauma-informed practice. She also holds Polestar Pilates Mat qualification and training in managing cervicogenic presentations using vestibular and neuro-rehabilitation approaches. Her care is collaborative, goal-oriented and evidence informed.
